intherainyseason asked: What's your process for making stickers? Any good resources out there? Cheers!
Right now there’s two different kinds of stickers I make.
The first ones I make a picture in Gimp (opensource, free downloadable), or actually I make few pictures and I choose the one I like best. Then I send it to these guys: http://www.disyouth.net/ and they print them and send ‘em to me. The qualityand the price are really decent.
Then I also have blank sticker paper, when I just want a few stickers I print them from my pc, but the quality is pretty bad, if it rains once or twice, the picture is gone.
What those sticker papers are good for is for hand drawing on them. Right now I use graffiti markers like Posca and On The Run. Like that, the colors will stay vivid for months.
For making the images on your pc and hand drawing I have only one good advice: look at what other people made and steal their good ideas.
